The company’s activities cover three main areas: consulting services related to foreign language and vocational training and introduction of modern training methods; consulting, management and co-ordination of projects under the European Commission programmes; development, interpreting and translation services, including translation and adaptation of learning and teaching tools and materials.
Euroinform has many years experience in project cooperation as a partner or promoter in projects, mainly in the field of adult and vocational training, design and delivery of foreign language teaching materials, including interactive language courses and language training to learners with special needs.
The company is a coordinator of several Socrates Lingua and Grundtvig projects. Its ‘Listen and Touch’ project resulted in a number of language learning materials for the blind and visually impaired won recognition at European level and received the silver award of the European Commission among the Lingua projects.

School for the Blind of Northern Greece “Helios” (Greece)
The School for the Blind of Northern Greece “Helios” is an educational establishment financed and supervised by the Ministry of Health and the Prefecture of Thessaloniki district. The school provides education to blind and partially sighted students from Northern Greece covering such geographical areas as Macedonia, Thrace, Epirus, Thessalia and Ionian islands. The organization has its own elementary school. It also gives educational support to visually impaired high school students providing tutorial lessons in the school premises. The school also provides assistance to university students with visual impairments. The teaching staff of the school elaborates learning materials in Braille print for all educational levels in literature and foreign languages (English, German and French).
The school actively cooperates with the School for the Blind in Athens and the Panhellenic Organisation for the Blind in Greece. It collaborates in a number of European projects with various educational institutions for the visually impaired.

bfi Steiermark (Austria)
bfi Steiermark - Berufsförderungsinstitut Steiermark (Vocational Promotion Institute Styria or bfi) is amongst the leading training institutions in Austria. It was founded and is owned by the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions (Österreichischer Gewerkschaftsbund or ÖGB) and the Chamber of Labour (Arbeiterkammer or AK). bfi Steiermark has been in the training business since 1960 and is classified as a non-profit oriented association.
Primarily, the main activities of bfi Steiermark lie in the planning and implementation of courses and learning events within the field of predominantly employee-oriented vocational training and development, adult education and rehabilitation.
bfi Steiermark offers ECDL training courses for blind and visually impaired persons but also computer programming courses for this target group. The Austrian government has allowed bfi Steiermark to run a permanent IT-service-point for blind and visually impaired persons providing help and support for the target group in IT-related topics such as auxiliary support, training in handling computers, support in public funding etc.

Language Training London (UK)
Language Training London (LTL) is a partnership offering applied linguistic consultancy for specific target groups, such as the military, interpreters, the disabled, and agriculturists. Projects have involved most countries in Europe, and many in the Far East, Middle East and Africa. LTL clients include publishers, examination boards, developers of web-based materials, and universities in the UK, China and Vietnam. LTL publishes specialist materials, issuing official ISBN numbers.
European projects are an important part of the current portfolio, with the focus on cultural diversity, social inclusion, and foreign language abilities in the blind and visually impaired and the eaf and hard-of-hearing communities.

National Association of Blind Entrepreneurs (Bulgaria)
NABE is a non-profit Bulgarianl association established with aims of training, vocational guidance and social rehabilitation of the visually impaired. It puts a special emphasis on encouraging entrepreneurship among blind people, forging links between them and employers with the view to ensuring durable occupation of the blind and visually impaired.
The association participates in a number of projects and initiatives at regional and national level aiming at strengthening occupation capabilities of the visually impaired, developing software products for computer users with sight problems and various kinds of training enhancing employability of the blind.
